Say goodbye (Urban Lividity) by Aaron HowardSay goodbye..
Spend the day in a puddle of tears...
watch from windowpanes while it rains indoors..
feeling the dampness down to my soul..
wondering what I can do to help me breathe again..
wondering what I can do that I won't consider a sin..
Say goodbye to the life that you once knew..
Wave out the window as it drives away..
Sniffle at the mere thought of another dark night..
Walk in the door and throw your keys at the wall
walk down that silent, empty hall...
fall into bed with the weight of the world..
fall into sleep and the nightmares that unfurl..
Dream of tomorrow and how it will all be the same..
Say goodbye to your sanity, because your insane..
You fable the days and hope for the best..
and come in and sleep away on the test..
You know the right answer, but rebel in stupidity
when it all comes down to your soul and the urban lividity.
