You just happen to go downtown looking for a good time
and who cares if you happen to commit a petty crime.

You were double parked and really really late
but maybe it was just all in the hands of fate.

No train is ever going to be on time.
No commutes ever going to be sublime.

All this human traffic to slow your pace
Walking along avoiding the face to face.

Just keep it all hidden under your hat
and never forget where you’re at.

Know what is capable and unjust
Always know when and who not to trust.

Look deep inside yourself for what you seek
and in Pandora’s box, I’d suggest a quick peek.
