You shattered every illusion I ever knew
and showed me what happens to be real and true.
You turned my head all around and upside down
and for once my feet were nailed into the ground.
A broken heart is a terrible thing to waste
Just another excuse of some needed space.
The gleaming light that hope always gives
for all the futile things and how he lives.

The shudder felt throughout
The loss of my last doubt.
The loss of my control to shout
The loss of my urge to be without

Out of order, but a heart afire
with my newfound faith and desire.
