You said you cared when I asked for your truth
but then we had to resort back to nail and tooth..
We argue like a tornado on a hell bent spree
and then we bitch about never being free
We ask God for all the things we lack
and then when we get them we give them back..
We shove away the best days of our lives
and run around on our mentally battered wives
We spoke once of how this would never work
and how I just thought I would end up the jerk..
Show me the loops in the contract
and teach me a new way to act.
