I say I need you, You say I’m not what to wear.
I say I want you, you say today’s not good for me
I say I believe in you and you say I’m just a fantasy.
You say You want something and I’m not it
You say I just talk a lot of bullshit
You say I’m just a slacker looking for a muse
You say I’m just to eager to go and blow my fuse.
You think that I can’t see the smile behind the hair
You think that I don’t know how deep you don’t care..
You think that maybe I am the only one
You think of me only when you want to have fun.
I said I’d always be there for you
I said my broken promises would be few..
I said I wanted something I couldn’t have
I said I was capable of doing all the math.
I know now, and you know too
You don’t care and this is the only thing that’s true.
