I feel you in my mind when you’re not here.
I can see that look on your face oh so clear.
I can hear your voice ringing in my lonely ears.
I can feel your high after a couple of beers.

You dream of me when I’m not in your bed
and my legs are tired from walking around in your head.
My voice is spoken in dreams of whispers
and you are the only one of Jennifer’s.
You speak of a past long ago
and you know all there is to know..
You have the smile that makes me whole
and fills that sweet spot in my soul.
You wrap me up like a butterflies cocoon
and we stay in bed at least until noon.
You make me laugh deep and hard
and of this broken heart you own the biggest shard.
