Forget and forgive

by Aaron Howard

A shadow on the wall to forget
about a time when your tongue got bit.
Nothing is something in the right hands
And sometimes it takes someone who understands..
A heart in your hands to call pride
A thing that dwells deep up inside.
Griping and crawling up to your mind.
To help you be yourself and be kind.
Shadows and the past love and regret.
Shadows of the ones we never really met.
The heart to heart that spans a life to live.
Where it’s all about forget and forgive.
Whispers in the dark for suspects
Wondering who gets in next…
Moans to soothe a shattered heart.
Where sometimes lust plays the part.
Share a shadow and boof the night away.
And wake up without a heartfelt thing to say.
