Last call by Aaron Howard
The nights last call has been put to bed..
and I have to settle all the thoughts in my head..
Afraid to ask the questions that still linger
wonder where, if at all, I should point the finger..
Forgotten dreams left by the wayside..
Forgotten loves to take away the soft side..
Driven to hell with a bag full of marbles..
as the world turns and wobbles..
Lost sins on the highway of broken hearts
when no one wins, no one comes to the starts..
Dusty memories of things to forget
and a life filled with morals and regret..
No one to ask the spectrum of question before the final vow..
and with that acknowledgement you take that deep bow..
