as our brave cadet stares to space,
motionless, he can feel the earthquake shake below
one more mediocre cataclysm
jolts his long gone optimism
stares into

S P A C E
stars tired of being used,
tell him in so many words
to fuck off and find a new fantasy-
or watch the rockets
e x p l o d e intheair
O2 combust, giver of life.
shown death in a firey,
beautiful irony-

But space cadet
has eclipsed the atmosphere,
a neverending horizon greets
him while he's lost in the fire of space.
runs on emptiness and apathy
this sattelite crashes back to

E A R T H
in the lost escape of the moment
the brave cadet stares at his
endless horizon,
this fleeting daydream,
