How we need to communicate about how we feel
for love is the only thing that even seems real..
Lay down and look deep in these brown eyes..
since you know you can see right through my disguise..
If you look in my eyes, you'll see you on my mind..
and when I look at you I know my love is one of a kind..
Look at these stars in my eyes..
see right through my petty white lies..
Know the truth in my hidden meanings and innuendos..
and stare right through me like pane glass windows..
Know that your the love that I need to sleep at night..
Your the love that makes me feel all right..
Know that your embrace is what makes me feel whole...
Know that it's you that completes my soul..
Know that I dream of you when I close my eyes..
Know that you are my once in a lifetime golden surprise..
Know that I would change my life to suit your needs and desires..
and I would fan all your romantic fires..
I would lift you up so high that my arms would ache.
then you’d set me down lightly for the final heartbreak.

Author's Note: I love the ending line on this one.. proabbly one of the only saving features of this poem.. but I guess I need to work on my love poems more... they seem so boring to me..
