shells at my feet by Ginette T Bellesitting under a coconut tree
sunflower seeds in my pocket
a white bunny tiptoes
over hot white sand
flailing arms
incoherent speech
that the world is coming to an end
and I should really get some sunblock on
because when the fire starts to burn
no doubt there will be an explosion
disappears
wouldn't you know
down a rabbit hole
it seems unintenially
indicated by the screaming bloody murder
all the way down
and I sat and listened to the silence
to interrupted peace
to the world coming to an end 09/04/2003 Author's Note: don't ask...

| Posted by Max Bouillet on 09/05/03 at 03:48 PM Great attitude in this one. I can't decide whether your jaded, or just accepting fate. Great words that inspire thought. |

I like the playful tone of this one. Well said.
