I’m not looking forward to another morning awake.
Where it’s just another day of give, grab and take.

Take my money, take my time, and take my sanity
Leave me stuck in a world impoverished by this vanity.

Stuck with these bills and multi level payments.
Always dealing with the moral dilemma it represents.

Struggling with this lifestyle I got sold.
Dealing with this bullshit until I get old.

A place where I can just settle in, relax and die
A place where I won’t have to look my kids in the eye.

I’ll be locked up in some home away from home
So they won’t have to worry about me being ”Alone.”

Author's Note: I wrote this about how our children will treat us if we treat our parents harshly..and the mindset about an old folks home..how we see it as a way to get mom or dad off our back once the bad days start comming...Shoot me in the head before you even think about putting me in a home..I changed your diapers.. you could at least return the favor..
