Maybe this doesn’t suit you…

The train conversations lingering in the back of my mind.
Where they come off as a different sort of unkind..
You thought you knew someone then you get to see the real them
and in the beginning you didn’t know the us from the who, what’s or him.

You thought things were only going to go one way…
that can all easily change in a second of a single day…
There’s things I remember and things I forget.
I won’t let that lead to a life full of regret..
I couldn’t change the world, but I could change you
Maybe with enough change, I could earn something true…

Maybe listen real hard between the lines
and step through all those mental land mines..
See the heart and soul of the matter
Lets not converse about who’s bank accounts fatter..
Maybe see the soul inside the shoe.
Then again, maybe this doesn’t suit you.

Author's Note: I took a few snippets of the Song Raining in Balitmore and placed them in here seeing as I love that song... I wrote this as a conversation piece.. to who I forget.. proabbly some love intrest.. I did like the lines about earning something new.. and a few other lines in this piece.. thats why I share...
