Kathy by Aaron HowardThis maze of connections and cross paths.
Where all I seem to meet is my better halves.
Something so strange to beguile my mind,
to find someone of my mental kind.
Smiles like I do, sings the songs I know
and because of her a little light is starting to grow.
In her eyes I see the dawn of a new tomorrow
A day, with its own share of pain and sorrow.
Together they stand
Maybe not now
Tomorrow.
Something not to be begged, stolen or borrowed.
Something real, an embrace that quenches the soul
A feeling of closeness while being totally out of control
Maybe a dream, maybe just a personal fantasy
Just this dream of you and me.
Kathy
