Jelly-Rolled Tongue* by S.J. TylerTake my thoughts
Melt them down
Into soft jelly sounds
Syllables, thick and heavy
Knead them into my doughy brain
The skin collected between my knotted shoulders
My ears between the webbing of your powerfully liquefying fingers
Prod and stir
Slurring vocabulary
And now it is nonsensical
Nonshmensical
Psychological soup
Boiled motor skills
Random chunks of vocal ability
And evaporated comprehension
