Blast by S.J. TylerBlast meeeeeee!
Who injected me with harsh,
searing, magma
that flows through my veins
eroding along the way
tingling through my skin?
No one honestly deserves this
How does that happen?
Only a monster could inject it
Not prickles, not heat
Not cold, nor sweet
Branches out through the network of veins
Though it seems to be immediate
And no longer flowing but flashing in waves
All over
All over my hands
They jolt
Jangle my silver spoon
On its tattered platter
I am smote with this insolence
That my body pays me back with
Crashes to the floor
Disintegration
Shameful and grotesque as I am
Withering to a pit
A dancing bean
A Mexican dancing, mocha,
chocolata, java bean
Jolting!
The flash ends
A jolty bolt of lightening
Gone in the same flash it came
Looking at the platter
A reflection, I see me
I am young
Full of bright flushed feelings
Lifted, in my left hand
Up to my face
Blink me
Blink mirror
I reach with my right
I want her
The plate begins to shiver
Wiggle and shake
The image is erased
She ran back to her locked closet
Where she belongs
Where she wont feel the quakes
I cant see her anymore
Crashes to the floor
Creep up, crawling on the ground
Peek at the silver
Wrinkles again
Lifeless eyes, blurry and shaking
It seems like an endless vibration
What kind of life is this?
Living on an unnatural-feeling fuel
Gasoline for the body?
It burns like it anyway
And as it runs out, I sputter
Am paralyzed like an empty engine
And something always crashes to the floor
No more lubricant
To smooth my joints
My movements
My thoughts
My skin
No more java, no more juice
Ive seen the past
And loathe the present
How I got this way
I did deserve it
Payment for my sins
Sins of childhood
Lost innocence
Blast off, I need a pick up
Blast me!
Renewal as the searing magma enters my veins
Look how pretty I am
