Chanteuse

by Melina Raven Maness Diebold

Dreams do dazzle

and drench the days

in daunting delusions

...

my soul sings

all of the songs

my psyche scribes

...

Everlasting embers of

elemental elan alive

in every eager eon

...

Perfumed pixies

proud and petal-garbed

play pretend with me

I applaud alliterative actions, and sonorously similar starting syllables.
