I threw you away today.
The e mails, the files,
The words you said.
It didn’t make any sense
To keep this all
in my head.

Like petals on the wind
I watched the rain today
And with each drop
It carried you away.

Why keep that poetry book
You read from…..
Baudelaire
I guess our brief time
Meant nothing
My memory vanishes
Into air.
