ragstock by Andrew S Adamsuptown is always there
cold and tired and bruied
with the ego to boot-
always trendy, always
spendy.
these hip kids mosey on down
to ragstock-
where all the world is
one big, overpriced
fashion bonanza-
for the 'independant'.
out of the mainstream,
they would say.
out of the mainstream-
into the mainline-
into the vein,
this travesty called
fashion is your brand new drug-
and all the hip kids
are doing it-
everyone trying to be the strokes.
everyone trying to be weezer.
it makes me cry...
i spent $9 for a fuckin belt. 04/18/2003 Author's Note: i went to uptown today. gah, this poem sucks, i'll say it flat out. help!!
