Tribute; The by Aaron HowardFor the super duper trooper party pooper
For the Immaculate trite invention of redemption
For the hours spent, bent over appeasing the powers
For the soulless miss selling her listless hours for a crack powered kiss
For the heartbroken underdog token bent over a log strained by a straw-boss hog
I salute you, and may your reattribute be true
I convey what I wish I could say, not tomorrow but today
I break from the norm with a new form at stake
To disperse these rumors in a hearse filled with tumors
No more lies in my eyes, No hidden surprise
Just a thank you, not a shank boo, but love so true.
For the worker with the broken back and empty sack
For the stripper with the infamously patented pole gripper
For the single mom, who cooks up the spaghetti bomb
For the working man who has to adhere to the plan
For the lost trying to find the cashier and the cost
A Salute goes out that you cant refute
A thanks the breaks the banks of dispute
A tribute to the ones whose point happens to be moot.
