Lost in this maze of mirrors and magic
where everything is so deceiving and tragic
Leaving you behind in this maze
Stuck in that mental haze
Spread the spectrum of time
and see the real crime
The loss of compassion to fear
in which you lose what you once held dear
You stutter in the night about how you feel
and try to grasp onto something real.
Lost, so lost in this life
Tossed around like a juggling knife
Waiting to fall, but always caught
since in this life, love is how you fought.
