stellar grasp (versions)

by Andrew S Adams

Enter your stellar grasp
The fantasies of life reside here.
If you make no measure to realize these
the stars will fall too fast to grip.

Lost at times is the cosmic purpose
Exerting energy for the cause
seems so pointless, so futile-
i can jump, but the sky is just out of reach.

"your perfection radiates from the sun"
his voice echoes from a point blank range.
"everything is so wonderful in you, my dear
and please dont ever change."

I laugh at the thought. He is my muse
He is my support when the sky should fall
he can look at all the stars from where he stands
but my beauty can only be lost on me.

I am a blessed star
while i shoot away from the night sky
in his arms, i fall-
he picks me up and shows me
points up to
where my dreams should be.
