meaning, the way.
yet i look in the ways of old
and all i see are traveled paths.
safe roads, treaded with fear-

(with good reason to lament,
as this is the road
the blind will tread.)

if we dont falter from the road
we will have experienced nothing.
if we pass off our load,
the weight on our backs
will not justify our wanting.

we will slip, and fall on the way.
yet we will find our footing
if we seek to find and create our own.
