one for the radio by Andrew S Adamscaught in the middle of spring warm days
the nights call for the hazy smells of now
the times that i could never get to sleep
hearing the anthems of a 15-second generation
every night on the face of the world
has heard songs like these.
every day on the face of the sun
has sattelites caught in the cool breeze.
and every dark moment you were caught
looking into the brightened songs of the sun
these happy cherry songs for the world to hear
the filler that we pollute our air with.
but every now and then, the wind blows
a happy song through my worlds small windows
and i just have to smile-
but i gotta keep it to myself.
i never wrote one for the radio
for the fear that i may like it. 03/23/2003 Posted on 03/23/2003 Copyright © 2025 Andrew S Adams
