loveliness

by Cymbre Dolphay

Like hell if I'll cry over you
you don't deserve that kind of devotion
not my tears or my heart
you don't care that much

I am nothing to you
a pretty piece of artwork to you
my emotions are frozen for you
but for me they are fire
burning so bright

I am the canlde
and you are the night
so indifferent and unchanged
while I dance and live
you watch my beauty
without a soft thought in your heart
not caring about my frailty
or contemplating life without me
just knowing that I am lovely

And somehow
that makes you great
