Reflections of Gods Crystal

by Lori I Wolfe

Cool water slips through the jagged rocks

Kissing the edge of the earth

Tasting the fruited grains of its mother

While on a journey down stream

A soul sits by the edge covering its feet

Watching the current pass him by

Fasinated by the sparkling jewels

That wink at him within the light of the sun

Inticing him to come out and play

A bird swoops at the mirrored surface

Collecting its morning meal

Admiring its beauty within the reflections

Rippling the waters with its touch

Delicately dances upon cool crystal

A doe drinks from the river of life

Quenching dawns first thrist

The mist rises in morning dew

Fragence fills deep within the lungs

With promises of a blessful day

Reflections within the crystals

Mirrors Gods greatest creations

Blessing us with his grace

Gifting us with wonderful treasures

Getting back to nature in a refreshing new way. 4th last line, a typo in the word reflections.
