Indifferent Love

by Ken Harnisch

I can cling no more to

This slender, springy bough

But if I let go

I shall fall to my death inside this shadowed bower

While this tree will go on living

Indifferent to my fate

Except in red October

When she shall cover me with leaves.

For now... I can not comment... the poem made me feel very sad... blue... and quiet.

Vivid, Ken....I can literally feel the pain. Well deserving favorite. :)
