attention all kmart shoppers
flags are on sale in aisle three
and i will say these aren't ordinary flags
oh, believe you me.
as you will find
much to your delight
adidas now owns
those top three stripes
and what do i see
in that field of stars?
five of them dedicated
for those who sell used cars
two more of the bands
strpied white and red
are now owned by makers
of candycanes instead

but wait, there's more.

tommy hilfiger is in line
to buy the rights
to the colors red and blue
and that shade known as white
but fear not
for you see
the american flag
always has plan b
your colors are now purple
black and gold
i'm sorry they're pale
but the gap doesnt like bold

sorry kmart shoppers
all of our flag has been sold.
