you flash and disappear
raw energy dancing across the sky
your movements flow with the music
a sight for many eyes

you are seen in but a glimpse
never showing yourself in a place more than once
your dance is wondrous and breathtaking
silent, hypnotic and mysterious

you show yourself only briefly
and you are gone again
like a thief in the night
only coming with the storm
