forever and awhile
will be spent with the memory of you
and tommorrow will remind me of your smile
the empty touch of lovers i know now
you promised, then left
i remembered, my promise
to the one and only you
though ive grown,
up and apart from the feelings
in my heart, and the thoughts of you
a promise of love haunts my life forever, and awhile.
