You work all night and never win
and every time you say never again.

After being kicked down a dozen times
and seeing a million hate crimes.

You start to lose touch with reality
and start living in a TV generate fantasy.

So you push all of your dreams aside
and try to go along for the ride.

Becoming one of the masses
while you dream off in your classes.

You follow your master for that gold.
Selling your best years to get old.

Selling your soul from some company stock
and when it's all said and done, it's just a crock.

So there you'll be, Poor and old.
Selling all your dreams for that petty gold

So live it loud, hard, and fast
because that's the only way to never come in last.
