Since you've walked into my life, things have come to change..
and somehow everything doesn't seem as dull and strange..

A long way away from once ago a while...
as the junkies all lose their flare and style..
Once away a day once away to be gone..
Staring up at the stars from an asphalt lawn..

Strange and beguiling ways to change the thought of my dreams..
A new line to snort up the way to rip it apart at the seams...
Once it was clear, and now for some reason it's lost somewhere
and for some bloody reason, I can't seem to find the time to care..

Shuttering the disguise to shake it from it's hinges..
To hide it away then in one of it's many binges..
Drink till dawn incoherently and wrap away the pain deep..
and find another reason to forget what you thought before you went to sleep.
