times of fun, times of tough.
too nice, too shallow at times
too happy go lucky committing crimes
too many hours committed in the book
too many people coming around to look
too many lies, too many fact keepers
too many hours spent with the street sweepers
too days in the gutter to emerge a saint
with this skin all coated in liars paint.
Say you love when you really don't know
wait for it to fall and see if the doubt will grow.
Speak openly but with tongue in cheek
and hang around with the bitter and the meek.
Flesh and blood to dream away the night..
but you'll never win, unless you come to fight.
