Stuck with the cold world...

by Aaron Howard

Midnight stars without you underneath..
What I'd give just to feel you breathe..
Skin so cold, eyes so blank..
and into my mind, depression sank..

A world without your warm smile
isn't worth dealing with, for any while..

A world without your spoken embrace..
now just you and this blank look on your face..

A full casket, when I wish were not..
and out of this deal, the rotten is what I got..

You said you've been past hell and beyond,
but I never thought I'd lose this bond..

A grasp on my love, a grasp on my mind..
and now I stuck with this cold world I find..
