Forest's glory

by Aaron Howard

The breeze blowing through the tree's...
The sounds that make me weak in my knee's...

The peace and quiet that only the forest provides
as the leaves come to show both of their side..

No hustle and bustle of the downtown rush
only the wind and that tree's muffled hush..

Sparkling sunlight through the deep underbrush
with the flora all plump, green and flush..

Dreaming my time away in the forest all day
Everywhere to go, run and play..
Chase the monkeys through the limbs
and dive deep where only the Buddha fish swims..
Show up in the middle of camp
all covered in mud and still damp
have all your friends laugh at the story
and fill the nights with all that forest glory.
