What do I do?
What do I say?
You are sitting by my side,
Talking to me
Being my best friend.

It runs so much deeper than that.
How do I tell you how I truly feel,
Without the threat of you leaving.

I love you with all my heart,
I would do anything to make you happy
And if it is to suffer in silence,
I will be silent forever.

I am calm, until you speak.
Your voice sends a shiver down my spine.
My body quakes at that sound.
I shutter to think of my life
Without you by my side.

If I must live here with you as my friend,
So be it
I would rather have my best friend forever,
Than to lose a love.

I only wish you knew,
And you felt the same.
Help me let you in and see me.

I know you love me,
I can see it,
In the way that you look at me,
The way you speak to me,
In the gentle whisper of your voice.

If you could just know,
It would be bliss, heaven.
You know me, you know how I think
How I feel,
How I love.
You could be him.
