The Sun will Shine Through
by Ryan M Evon-In Light of the Attack on America-
Through our darkest days
And the threat of hate
We should not fear
Because the sun will shine through
Even though clouds blanket
The sky warning of storms ahead
We know inside
The sun will shine through
The dust and smoke
Of fallen buildings hangs
But we will dig
Because the sun will shine through
Though the tremendous loss
Will lower our hearts and flags
They will both raise proud again
And the sun will shine through
Even as our enemies hide
Behind darkness and lies
We will not give up
Because the sun will shine through
And we will be victorious
With the power of American strength,
Unity, and Freedom
The sun will shine through
