POLITICS by Charles E Minshall
____________________
Waterfalls of oratory,
Flooding hill and plain.
Lies and promises falling,
Like a bitter winter rain.
If each lie was a dollar,
I'd be willing to make a bet,
There would be no lack of money,
To pay our nations debt.

| Posted by Quentin S Clingerman on 05/04/08 at 11:51 PM I think this stands the test of time! Unfortunately politics and "spin" are inseparable. |
