now I dream again
of moonlit falling snow
in the depth of winter night
we two standing alone
amidst the heaven born ice
falling like the morning star
and landing to disappear
joining a thousand thousand more
filling our footprints

we staring at the in
finite beauty of the world
just existing for a briefest second
with each other
almost silent to hear
the snow striking the ground
but muffled by the wind –
a light wind
but blows hard enough
(upon these frigid nows)
to force us closer together
when the Universe stands still
in patient waiting
of our rightful ownership
of the moment

and the moon smiles
down upon the earth
in empathy of quiet lovers
and the stars reflect
a thousandfold within your eyes
and for the tiniest fraction
of Infinity
I know perfection
