hovering falling near weightlessness
as it descends towards the dark landscape
of dust and earthshadow
the infinite geometric perfection
destroyed in a singlest instant
of chaotic serenity
and a million tiny replicas of itself
dig themselves into Diana's skin
or float silent into the loneliness
of forever more silence
separating themselves by microns and parsecs
catching occasionally the glowing tears
of some distant star or quasar
and throw them at me
with the truest precision of apathy
until the multitude
of invisibly radiant star droplets
crash into a reflection of your eyes
which faster than death the vision fades
and I am left watching
my soul descend away
