Youthful Beauty

by Martini Koy

In the spring of your youth
Did you come to my life
Bringing nothing but attraction and desire.

Walking on tiptoes you passed me by
Once noticed at first glance
But did not impress me quite much.

Days went on as it always does
Slowly you are making an imprint
Upon my consciousness.

The days that kept on moving ever since
Stopped so suddenly in front of me
When I found myself lying naked
Beside your youthful body.

Time froze for a second or so
But as the two bodies moved against each other
So did the frozen time.

The scent of your body
Softness of skin so smooth
Eyes so striking
And lips so soft.

I can see your face so clear and vivid
In my mind, in my thoughts
As I write this tale
Of this person I call my friend
About this person I say is special to me.
