Kiss softly each night
As it signals the end of the day
It wishes comfort and rest
Stillness althroughout.

Mumble a little prayer
A prayer of gratitude and favors
Close your eyes
And drift away in sleep.

Let the cool evening breeze sweep you
Make it be your blanket, your music
May the moonlight glow upon you
And let the starlight drizzle on you.

Lift up your hopes and spirits
Raise them as high as you can
For when the sun rises
You will need them to last the new day.

May your God bless you tonight
With extreme care and love
May He kiss you goodnight
On the forehead HIs child.
