My pc crashed and burned... big bummer, inhales profusely, etc. I went to Best Buy last night to look at PC's, they wanted $800 for the newest version of the PC brand I had (emachines) with an Athlon processor, but they didn't want to give me financining.

SO, I went to Conn's (I think they're only in TX). I bought my refrigerator from them when I bought my house, so I figured why not see how much credit I have with them still.

I got a brand new HP Pavillion, with a Pentium 4 processor, a CDRW (I think it's DVDRW too) LightScribe..... OH wow I'm gushing now, but this is the FIRST time I've EVER had a brand new, modern, up to date PC, EVER! I can't believe how SLOW my old PC was (even before it decided to croak).

See, good things do happen to not so bad people every once in a while!
