A HUGE sigh of relief...

Finally, the administration at my school released the proposed staff assignments for next year!

I am being taking out of the semi/self-contained unit for the emotionally disturbed and returning BACK to Content Mastery (this is similar to a tutorial setting for those of you that might not be familiar).

Last year when I was in C.M. it wasn't unusual to have a minimum of three different subjects (Math, Reading, Social Studies, etc) in the room at the same time. Sometimes they were there to have tests read orally, sometimes they needed help understanding math problems...it could be a wide-range of things. It was seldom the same thing from one period to the next, let alone one day to the next. I LOVED the constant change, the challenge, etc... it kept my brain active and my skills sharp. Despite the loss of a 3K yearly stipend, I am almost estactic about this change.

Here's hoping that nothing throws a wrench in the plans!
