I was talking to my mom on the phone yesterday and she told me my sister's boyfriend's brother died early yesterday morning. He joined the army last year in April and was scheduled to go off to Afghanistan and find and kill Osama Bin Ladin. My sister said he was certain he was going to die. So when my mom told me he was killed, I thought she meant in combat. I was really surpirsed to find out that it was a car accident in Pennsylvania. I feel so bad for my sister. But I feel worse for her boyfriend, Ben, and his family. It's just such a surprise.
On a lighter note, I am going to Seattle and California in a few weeks. I'm really excited. I've never spent any time in Seattle, but I've been there a bunch of times, well, in the airport at least. Yes. Anyway, I am really out of it and should go.
