everclear

so, last night i saw everclear in concert. AMAZING SHOW. so much energy, so much fun. the opening band, longshot' was pretty horrific. the lead singer thought he was god, he was drinking and smoking on stage... he stumbled into the bassist. not such a hot band.
after that, the exies played. they were actually okay, alot better than that 'my godess' song would suggest. everybody was standing around for their entire set til they played my godess, and then a few people started jumping around.
and then, there was everclear. oh god, there was everclear.
they started off with a couple songs from slow motion daydream, which i dont particularily care for. but they got into heroin girl and you make me feel like a whore, it was great. all in all, it was heaven. my friend bets is about the worlds biggest ec fan, and she was there w/ me, brandon, cheryl, kate & peter. it was amazing- they encored with santa monica. god how wonderful. :-)
