greetings from a dead man
the clock strikes 13.
with my blood on the wind
and a wolf at the door,
it’s just me and the silverfish
i’ve named frank
and a seven day growth
and a bad tooth
and yesterday’s pizza box
with that last cold cheese
which i carefully peel but
the cardboard comes anyway
and it’s just me and frank
and my bad tooth
with elvira,
mistress of the dark
and “plan 9 from outer space”
and it’s my eyes that wander,
to and from the tv screen
to and from the tv screen,
from her plunging v
from her creamy cleave
to the gun that hangs on the wall,
the gun that hangs on the wall.
