Posted by George Hoerner on 01/26/09 at 03:47 PM So far the angels I've met have all been face to face. But then I've been quite lucky in this life. We'll see where it goes from here. Another thoughtful write my friend. You are on a roll as the saying goes.

Posted by Anita Mac Auslan on 01/26/09 at 11:39 PM That last stanza is absolutely breathtaking to me... But what I think drew me in more than anything are the last 3 lines of the first stanza. Complete first to last; I would expect no less from you.

Posted by Lacy D Phillips on 01/28/09 at 02:01 AM I read this entirely as a meditation on the recent inauguration of President Obama. It works, conjuring images of the crowded Mall, Reflecting Pool the only uninhabited space, breath turning to mist, the President and First Lady as the focus of so many millions, the channels of justice, democracy, hope.
Posted by Julie Adams on 01/29/09 at 10:49 AM the innate peace I feel upon the digestion of your words leave me calm yet energized, renewed yet reflective...and like water, I can't get enough of the words your mind inks into the universe...
