Sihaya

by Jon Kary

Resonating with you
my world blossoms open
like a flower
long-forgotten
finally flowing into bloom.

A universe full of stars,
ancient seeds of light and wonder
exploding outward
germinating time
in the vibrant womb of
Quintessential Mind.

There is a beauty untold
that stands in authority
at the source
pulling our souls
Irresistible.

Author's Note: Sihaya: the desert springtime with religious overtones implying the time of fruitfulness and "the paradise to come." (derived from Frank Herbert's 'Dune')

I like this too, Jon. A delicate piece with much reflection. We still have so much to learn about creation if we survive long enough to do so. Nice write. 0

...i don't know why, but your words always conjure an image of you with a vast, ever changing world swirling around you...worlds evolving while you remain the vortex, the axis...part romance, part science, part belief...

In this magical piece, a part of me looms, wandering in the universe you describe, blooming in your starlight and drinking in your germination, your words expound and internalize at once, begging to be swallowed whole, as the universe does the soul...what magic your words conjure in me, what more can I say but I love it so! ...I adore what is born upon your pages...peace, jewels

You have a way with making words flow effortlessly, yet meaningfully down the page and into your reader....superb. And the Dune reference just makes it all that much better (for those of us who are familiar) :)

Such a sacred place created here, and opened up to the reader. I delight in the stars as ancient seeds, and I think the use of the word "authority" is well chosen.
